CBI transformed a 150,000 SF cold-shell into Tivo’s San Jose office, including electronic labs, data center, and broadcast center. A fast-track project schedule of 12 months required concurrent design and construction, permit expediting and design build MEPS. In a fine-tuned synchronization of project teams, we created a highly detailed CPM issuing weekly task lists for the design teams to prevent slipping design tasks from impacting the overall schedule. Through extensive coordination with the city of San Jose, an aggressive schedule was established and adhered to. Diligent coordination with existing tenants and building owners was an integral part of delivering the desired client results. This along with daily communication with the project architects and design/build sub-contractors resulted in an interior space that the client was proud to call home.
